We stopped here for breakfast while on vacation from Louisville to Mammoth Cave National Park. It was a Saturday morning and we were the only ones there. The service was amazing, the cook made my son a Mickey Mouse pancake. Nice conversation and great pricing. Not many places can you get breakfast for 2 adults & a kid for 20. Definitely a place to stop into for a meal!! Thanks for showing me what Big Red soda was

Just had the pleasure of stopping for lunch on our way to visit family and can say that this will be our stop on our way home! The best burger I have had at a restaurant in a long time, fries are amazing. They also have a greet corn that is a must try! Very homey feel and the owner and waitress were very friendly and helpful! We love supporting hometown diners and so happy that we found LJs!! Thanks so much!! May God Bless!!

Very friendly people. Very welcoming. Everyone needed to stop by this place. A must visit. You will not be disappointed.

Great surprise! Heading south on I-65 we found this hometown diner on google and decided to check it out. Walking into L. J. Depot Diner was like taking a step into the past, when people weren’t in such a hurry and took the time to visit. The food was good, but the service and people were great! The decor has a railroad theme, in honor to the town’s history. They also honor those who serve to protect the community. We plan to return when we’re in the area. I recommend you stop by and experience the small town hospitality and homemade cooking.

Food was good, especially the fries. Service was good. Price was good. Decor was cool. Lots of safety services and train pictures and other dedications. Food came out quick and hot (were not busy). Will stop by again when we are in the area.

This is my new family... food amazing and the staff...which I feel so bad saying staff because we are seriously family now. My heart was so full in this small town and the home cooking was of another world and time... amazing!
